Meet the April 18th Speakers

Stephanie Tollison, OTR/L



Stephanie Tollison, OTR/L is a 1994 graduate of the University of a Oklahoma with a degree in Occupational Therapy. She has worked in a variety of settings including, acute care, home health, LTC/SNF. Stephanie has worked for Phoenix Rehab at The Lakes Care Center in Oklahoma City since 2004. She specializes in geriatric rehab. In addition, Stephanie is certified in LSVT Big for the treatment of Parkinson’s.

Darla Lawrence, M.S., CCC-SLP



Darla Lawrence, M.S., CCC-SLP works as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Director of Rehab at Green Country Care Center in Tulsa, OK. Darla graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Oklahoma State University in 2004. She also graduated with a Master’s of Science Degree from the University of Tulsa in 2006. Darla is certified in LSVT (Lee Silverman Voice Therapy) Loud for Parkinson’s Disease. Darla is also certified in the Ampcare Effective Swallow Protocol for Dysphagia Therapy. Darla’s experience includes facilitating a Parkinson’s Disease support group, working specifically with Alzheimer’s and Dementia patients, tracheotomy and ventilator dependent patients, and those patients recovering from stroke and pneumonia. 

Shanna Rierson, M.Ed. CCC-SLP



Shanna Rierson, M.Ed. CCC-SLP works a Director of Rehab for Phoenix Rehab, serving 7 Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout Oklahoma. Prior to that she was an Area Manager for a Rehab Company service multiple states. Shanna is a 1999 Graduate from the Northeastern State University and has a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Shanna has worked in Skilled Nursing Facilities since graduation and is certified in Ampcare Effective Swallow Protocol for Dysphagia patients. Shanna also specializes in knowledge of Medicare and coding and billing for the geriatric population.
